My main desktop right now is as listed. I build my own performance PC’s, because you can get MUCH more bang for the buck if you know what you’re doing.

My current monitor is a Dell 2408WFP, and my current keyboard is the ABS M1 Mechanical Keyboard.

I’m running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit as my OS.

For this PC, I switched from a Q6600 (quad) to a Dual Core because of the overclocking capabilities, and the fact that, at least right now, most apps aren’t taking advantage of 4 cores. I may switch back for my next build. I handed the Q6600, my old 8800 GT, and the mobo (680i LT) down the my kids.

I do most of my shopping for components via Newegg (the second most dangerous site on the net.. the first being Amazon). I use gmail (no Pop3 client).
